We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our Quality team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for daily production inspections while also contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Your focus will be on maintaining quality standards in alignment with ISO 9001 guidelines.
Responsibilities
Conduct real-time inspections of products, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance and approving process paperwork for critical customer and production operations.
Assist in managing and implementing facility quality programs, including training, corrective actions, continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and non-conformance processes.
Perform daily audits of departmental processes and paperwork in accordance with QA procedures, and generate reports or analyses as needed.
Carry out tasks in compliance with all GSC safety rules, regulations, handbook guidelines, and written procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
3-5 years of experience in a quality department within a manufacturing setting.
Strong ability to understand and apply customer specifications and requirements.
Excellent eyesight and color differentiation skills.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing; experience with SPC tools/software is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
