Key Responsibilities:
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints including an understanding of GD&T.
· Follow and establish existing quality standards for products a company produces
· Perform part inspections utilizing various gauges including micrometers, calipers, height, and depth gauges, as well as visual inspections.
· Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced by a company
· Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality
· Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team
· Accurately complete required documentation using Good Documentation Practices.
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
· Willingness to work overtime as required.
· CMM experience would be helpful.
· Other duties as required
Knowledge:
· Good writing and analytical skills
· Attention to detail, organization ability and able to interact well with others
· Ability to review and update documentation using MS Office
· Ability to alter and adjust inspection and daily priorities as needed
· Able to understand and use practical usage of GD&T, Blueprints and various other inspection documentation and equipment
· Able to use measurement equipment such as calipers, height gages and misc. inspection equipment
Experience:
· 2 plus years of team leading experience a plus
· Manufacturing experience 5 years
· Mechanical or Electrical education background
Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED equivalent.
· 3-5 yrs. experience in manufacturing or machining
· 3-5 yrs. experience in dimensional Inspection
· Good computer skills, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education:
· Associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent (Preferred)
