The UAT Analyst will manage user acceptance of system enhancements for Hilton Grand Vacation (HGV) software applications by working directly with end users for verification and approval of releases. The UAT Analyst will be assigned to projects, product teams, and/or sprint production releases. The systems support all areas of HGV such as sales, marketing, contracts, portfolio services and accounting.
The UAT Analyst will have responsibilities such as:
Detailed analysis of requirements to develop test scenarios, evaluating code testability, and test conditions
Determining test relationships, structure test cases reflecting proper sequencing and dependencies
Analysis of requirements to identify UAT business participants
Preparing the test environment (data refresh, setting testing parameters, validating database)
Conducting UAT Kickoff meetings and release demonstrations to exhibit new functionality
Coordinating QA to UAT hand over meetings by validating completeness of QA testing, and UAT acceptance criteria have been met
Creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and core scenarios
Tracking of issues into defects, new requirements, data set up, user error, and defect remediation
Creating test metrics for UAT process, including number of user stories, completed stories, bugs reported, priority of bugs for resolution, and resolution percentage
Obtaining approval for all changes from various business units involved in UAT
Assisting with creation of release notes
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the SDLC
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience leading testing session in a small or group session
3+ Years of UAT or testing experience
Experience with testing software
Understanding of database concepts
Understanding of API concepts
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools, including Teams and SharePoint
Ability to work independently and in teams
Experience in testing both waterfall and agile projects
Knowledge of test automation
