Pay: $22-25/hour DOE
Overview
This client is an industry-leading food and beverage company committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. In this role, you’ll work with dedicated colleagues to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, enhancing your skills in quality assurance while helping deliver safe, high-quality products to consumers.
Schedule:
Day Shift – 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
Conduct monitoring, checks, and testing of raw, in-process, and finished products to confirm compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Uphold safety practices, report hazards, and prevent injuries.
Monitor sanitation and personal hygiene according to GMPs and company policies.
Perform quality sampling and organize data into electronic logs and reports.
Follow work instructions related to Quality, Environment, Safety, and Food Safety.
Support ISO-GFSI, FDA-FSMA, and other compliance programs; stop production if safety or quality issues are observed.
Analyze materials using procedures like pH, Brix, Microbiological Sampling, etc.
Calibrate equipment, troubleshoot systems, and assist with projects.
Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.
Develop technical and personal skills for a world-class manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED; degree in a science field preferred.
2+ years in Food Plant Quality Assurance; experience in production may substitute.
Team-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of lab safety and hazardous materials handling.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work with others and accept instructions.
Self-starter with a flexible schedule.
Proficient in MS Office and quality software; beverage industry experience is a plus.
