Job Description:
Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Cannabis Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations by preparing tests and analyses on cannabis products to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze cannabis samples using various laboratory techniques, including chromatography and spectrometry.
Conduct routine quality control tests to assess potency, purity, and contaminants in cannabis products.
Maintain accurate records of all laboratory procedures and results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with scientists and other technicians to improve testing methods and processes.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the cannabis or pharmaceutical industry.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
