JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of test cases to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS products. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to identify software defects, verify fixes, and ensure that features meet product requirements before deployment. This role is full-time and 100% remote.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
1-2 years experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS or Agile environment
Experience with UI test automation and management tools (e.g., JIRA, Q-test, Quality Center).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, WebDriver).
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Ability to write clear and detailed test cases, bug reports, and documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their related testing considerations.
Experience working with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Familiarity with testing SaaS applications, cloud-based environments, and multi-tenant architectures.
Experience with mobile application testing.
Familiarity with Case Management systems.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Test Planning & Execution:

Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features and enhancements.
Perform manual and automated testing of inFormed applications to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
Execute functional, regression, performance, and load testing to ensure the quality of the software.
Execute manual test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and business requirements, ensuring thorough validation of product features and functionality.
Identify, document, and report defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes through regression testing.

Defect Tracking & Reporting:

Log defects with detailed information and ensure timely resolution by collaborating with developers.
Track issues and ensure they are fixed in a timely manner, communicating status to the relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and ensure that the product is tested according to specifications.
Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, daily standups, sprint planning) and provide feedback on user stories, acceptance criteria, and potential testing challenges.

Automation:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks.
Identify opportunities for automating repetitive tests to increase testing efficiency.

Continuous Improvement:

Suggest improvements to the QA process and work with the team to implement best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve testing processes and methodologies.
