We are currently seeking a Quality Control Coordinator for our office in Orlando, Florida. You’ll need to be a self-starter that is able to work independently as well as under direct supervision. Job Summary

The Quality Control Coordinator will oversee all quality related activities assuring the optimal overall quality of products and services as well as meeting and adhering to required certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. They will oversee all aspects of the company Quality Management System (QMS) assuring all departments track and report on key quality objectives, performance metrics and applicable records. They will support an on-going culture of quality, training, teamwork, and continual improvement geared specifically to the needs of customers and the long-term sustainability of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop, implement and maintain the QMS to ensure product/service meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements.

· Establish and maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with the quality manual, applicable ISO standards and specific customer requirements.

· Oversee the quality inspection processes from incoming material to final inspection and calibration.

· Lead the root cause and corrective action programs for all areas of the company.

· Oversee the containment and disposition of non-conforming materials in coordination with production.

· Support engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance.

· Develop and analyze quality-reporting metrics and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.

· Develop and implement quality control training programs. Maintain applicable training records.

· Represent quality assurance related to any company safety, environmental, and security issues or concerns.

· Lead and maintain internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS.

ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Specific Responsibilities

· Establish and maintain all quality records and documentation in accordance with the quality manual, defined ISO 9001 and 17025 scope.

· Provide leadership and support to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 certifications.

· Schedule, coordinate and lead audits (internal, external and customer) to meet requirements.

· Schedule and coordinate management reviews.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 QMS requirements, records and auditing is required

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in leading problem solving and root cause analysis.

· Experience in a manufacturing environment with continuous improvement and statistical process control is required.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree with a major field of study in quality, engineering or equivalent related technical field experience.

· 3-5 years Quality Management experience. 10 years Quality Engineering experience preferred.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

· Travel required to our Pennsylvania location as needed. Additional travel may be required for audits, customer visits, or industry conferences.

· Occasionally required to lift up to 35 lbs.
