As we grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team and help ensure that every product meets our stringent quality standards.

Position Summary

The Entry-Level Quality Inspector plays a key role in the verification of product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This individual will be responsible for performing inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with aerospace specifications and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Testing

Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and height gauges
Conduct mechanical and physical property tests in accordance with aerospace specifications, including:
Tensile, yield, and shear testing
Hardness testing
Torque and drive testing
Proof pressure testing
Prepare metallurgical samples and assist with testing procedures

Documentation & Compliance

Accurately record all inspection data and maintain documentation for traceability and quality audits
Ensure adherence to all company quality procedures, customer specifications, and industry standards
Understanding of FAIRS, DIPS and inspection reports
Report any deviations or non-conformances and support resolution activities in collaboration with the Quality and Production teams

Team Collaboration & Support

Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Customer Service
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes and documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or inspection role (preferred)
Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques (training will be provided)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, reliable work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with quality software or ERP systems is a plus
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
Good visual acuity (with or without correction) to perform detailed inspections
Experience with Calibration/Metrology equipment

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
