Quality Technician – Automation/Robotics Field
Job Description
– Quality check incoming supplier material utilizing tools such as drawings, CAD software, CMM
– Problem solve issues from warehouse and manufacturing floor such as nonconforming material, date codes, inbound supplier issues and damage.
– Document each issue for records and communication with all parties involved.
– Maintain nonconforming material area for timeliness and accuracy of quarantined material.
– Work with many groups to resolve problems including Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supplier base.
Requirements
– Minimum 2 year degree in engineering or quality related field or equal relevant experience
– 2+ years in automation. Understanding of robotics, robot spare parts and robot systems preferred
– CMM experience , quality tech tool knowledge and GD&T knowledge.
– Mechanically inclined for understanding of how material goes together offering background for problem solving.
– Good to highly proficient computer skills.
– Meticulous and detail oriented. Must be able to document issues and resolution and communicate with those involved what happened, why and final outcome -> root cause, corrective action
– Good to highly proficient in problem solving and communication
– 2nd shift (2pm – 10:30pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
