Job Summary (Quality Assurance Technician – Mid-level): W2 role, Onsite interview
- Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products using detailed procedures and testing equipment.
- Identify production bottlenecks or recurring defects and recommend corrective actions to improve processes.
- Complete detailed documentation and reports of inspection outcomes, test results, and defects; enter data into quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs) throughout manufacturing processes.
- Identify root causes of defects and collaborate with production/engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Investigate product non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain up-to-date technical proficiency and troubleshoot issues related to software, hardware, network infrastructure, and IT.
- Safely use hand tools and basic power tools, and be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
- Work effectively in a team-focused environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Communicate inspection results clearly through effective written and verbal communication.
- Support a new long-term contract under DHS and must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
- Adjust to shifting priorities between production, maintenance, and repair as needed.
