Position: Quality Assurance Technician (Night Shift)

Role:
Sunrise is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, detail-oriented individual, who is a strong team player and can work with minimal supervision and show sound judgment. This position is available in the Lethbridge plant 11:00pm – 7:30am (Monday – Friday) and weekends as scheduled.
Responsibilities:
HACCP Monitoring – critical controls
Monthly Audits / Inspections – GMP, Facility
Product sampling and quality testing online
Microbiological swabbing of equipment surfaces, plating
Operational condition monitoring – temperatures, plant conditions
Pre-operational inspections – visual / smell (Evis/Production)
Equipment Calibrations / monitoring
Data entry tasks
Record verification tasks
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Have working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Be available for overtime if the processing schedule requires it.
Be a fast learner.
Be able to work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
Have experience in QA / food processing.
Have education related to food / quality.
Are familiar with microbiological testing, laboratory procedures and equipment.
Have post-secondary education.

salary range
provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sunrise Farms. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
