Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector based in Allendale, SC. Reporting to the Quality Lead, this role involves maintaining product quality through testing finished and raw materials to meet quality control specifications. Responsibilities include testing for quality, density, and flow, and making necessary adjustments to the production process.
Responsibilities
Calculate and record weights of finished products.
Generate daily production reports.
Check pipe samples for quality control.
Conduct weekly color inventory and mix special colors as needed.
Perform ash, burst, and tensile tests to assess strength.
Communicate testing results to supervisors for adjustments.
Unload trucks using a forklift.
Verify finished product inventory to meet customer needs.
Initiate inventory processes to support workflow.
Use computer systems for tracking inventory, production, and testing records.
Follow all safety protocols and complete required paperwork.
Perform monthly visual checks of resin in silos, using safety harnesses as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of relevant experience.
Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.
Forklift operation skills.
Experience with quality control equipment and power tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Within 3 Months
Complete training programs.
Build relationships with key stakeholders.
