An established and respected food production company in North Country Dublin is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to join their team. This is a standalone role offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic,high-quality environment supplying fresh seafood to leading Irish retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across production and retail operations.
Train staff on HACCP procedures, SOPs, and hygiene practices.
Conduct in-line process checks including labelling, traceability, storage, and documentation accuracy.
Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System, including audits, non-conformance handling, complaints, and corrective actions.
Oversee product quality, final packaging checks, and ensure customer specifications are consistently met.
Support compliance with regulatory and certification requirements (BRC, SFPA, MSC, Organic).
Liaise with external bodies during inspections and audits.
Occasional travel to a second Dublin site for audit support or training.
Requirements:
Experience in QA within a food production environment is preferred.
Recent graduates with relevant food science or QA-related degrees and some industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control systems (HACCP, traceability, etc.).
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Driving licence and own transport
