The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the testing and automation frameworks as required for their projects. Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects once, also working to improve the company’s best practices from a testing a standpoint.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and execute test cases
Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary
Timely execution of test cases
Identify, and record bugs
Execute and improve QA processes (Define bug life cycle, release notes, sign off for UAT, and uploading it to production) supporting Agile/Scrum software development.
Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios.
Conducting requirement clarification and issue resolution meetings.
Design and Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results using Approved.
Use Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools.
Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed.
Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the team lead.
Experience with Agile (SCRUM) projects and good understanding of Agile ceremonies
Complete task in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind.
Accelerate and expand utilization of test automation
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Troubleshoot programming and functional defects throughout development iterations, as well as production issues.
Perform extensive regression and performance testing
Writes or assists in the development of Test Conditions, Test Cases.
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
Closely work with development team, production team and consultants.
Qualifications
Experience in end-to-end testing (SDLC) on Web based apps, Software and large scale enterprise products is must
Experience with technical QA skills and ALM SQL, Installations, build process, Jenkins, etc. is must
Experience with Client-Server testing, including API tests is must
Good analytical skills & keen eye for perfection
Experience with Agile software delivery methods
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with Git, Pull Requests, Code Reviews advantage
Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage
Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines with strong work ethics
