Position Purpose:
We are seeking a QA Lead Engineer to join our Supply Chain Technology team. In this role, you will mentor and guide engineers, helping them develop their skills while ensuring engineering efforts are completed on time and meet quality expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and apply various testing methodologies (unit, functional, regression, and performance testing).
Create and review test strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
Design and improve test frameworks and test data solutions to support automated testing.
Use advanced knowledge of coding languages and testing frameworks to implement automated testing processes.
Ensure testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Analyze data to identify trends or issues and implement plans for improvements.
Lead the development and delivery of software with a focus on quality through unit tests, integration tests, and validations.
Drive quality analysis across the organization by participating in the broader testing center of excellence.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders about project progress and readiness.
Promote quality as a core aspect of project delivery.
Coach and mentor software engineers on testing best practices and frameworks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and testing.
Proficiency in Java.
Extensive experience with test methodologies such as TDD and BDD, automated testing frameworks, and public cloud platforms.
Proficient in building microservices using Domain-Driven Design and event-driven mechanisms.
Hands-on experience with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and end-user-facing systems.
Strong collaboration, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Proven problem-solving skills with innovative thinking and sound judgment.
Ability to oversee and guide technology decisions for functional teams.
Proven ability to deliver solutions aligned with business goals and strategies.
