Key Responsibilities
QA Planning
• Analyse requirements to identify potential risks, dependencies and testing priorities.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst Lead and Business Users to define clear test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• End-to-end accountability for the timely execution for all testing activities.
• Ensures seamless coordination of testing efforts among testers working in different workstreams. • Develop test plans, test cases and ensure strict adherence to testing standards and best practices. • Plan and coordinate test environment setup and management.
QA Execution
• Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support.
• Overseeing the execution of test cases and monitoring test results.
• Ensuring that testing is conducted according to the test plan and schedule.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely tracking, prioritization, and resolution
• Proactively identify systematic issues and provide effective troubleshooting advice.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on testing progress, issues, and risks.
• Ensure proper documentation of UAT results and feedback.
• Support cutover and post-implementation validation efforts.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in QA preferably leading testing efforts for large-scale projects
• Experience in insurance domain
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable
• Detailed-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to engage stakeholders across various business domains.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
