We are seeking an experienced QA Tester Lead/SME with deep expertise in QNXT testing and specialized knowledge of Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) for California health plans. This role will lead quality assurance initiatives focused on manual testing, ensuring seamless performance, compliance, and integration within QNXT systems.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned QA professional with strong leadership capabilities, extensive hands-on experience with California medical health plans, and the ability to interface confidently with clients to present findings, solutions, and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA testing efforts for QNXT platform implementations and enhancements within D-SNP CA health plans.
Manage manual testing activities, including test planning, test case development, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in QNXT, particularly in the context of California Medicaid and Medicare health plans.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, providing regular updates, presenting findings, and proposing effective solutions.
Provide mentorship and leadership to junior QA testers and ensure adherence to testing best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QA Testing Lead in healthcare-related projects.
At least 3 years of hands-on QNXT experience within a health plan setting, preferably in California.
Excellent Power Point (.ppt) presentation skills
In-depth knowledge of California medical health plans, including regulatory and business requirements for D-SNP programs.
Strong background in manual testing methodologies; ability to design and execute complex test scenarios.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead QA efforts and collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.
Experience with Medicaid/Medicare dual-eligible programs (D-SNP).
Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
