Role Overview
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software products. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of our web and mobile applications.
This role requires a solid understanding of testing methodologies, automation tools, and collaboration practices. At Inosoft, we promote a shift-left testing culture and encourage the use of AI-driven testing tools, involving QA from the early stages of the development lifecycle.
You will help ensure the success of our software products by performing end-to-end verification and validation, combining manual and automated testing to detect and prevent issues early, following our standards and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, with at least 1 years in automation testing.
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for automated testing on web, mobile, and API platforms.
Familiarity with RESTful API testing and backend validation.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and test management processes.
Ability to develop structured test plans and define comprehensive test coverage using test management tools such as Zephyr Scale.
Experience using JIRA for task tracking, bug reporting, and test execution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
Job Description
Design and implement automated test cases using Katalon Studio.
Collaborate with developers and product managers during planning and design phases to support testability and early validation.
Create and maintain manual and automated test cases in Zephyr Scale.
Use JIRA for test management, bug tracking, and sprint reporting.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability and edge-case issues.
Leverage AI-driven features in test planning tools to optimize coverage and prioritization.
Identify, log, and track bugs, clearly communicating their business impact.
Perform regression, functional, UI, performance, and basic security testing.
Support post-release testing and troubleshoot production issues.
Contribute to process improvements and QA documentation.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Understanding of BDD frameworks (e.g., Gherkin syntax).
Experience testing in containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Espresso, Robo test, or Open STF.
Interest in leveraging AI-assisted tools for test optimization and predictive QA.
