For one of our banking clients , they are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support our Human Resources systems with a strong focus on manual testing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of HR-related applications, particularly through regression testing and API testing. This position is ideal for someone passionate about quality, with an analytical mindset and a foundational understanding of HR technology workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing across HR systems to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet defined requirements.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new code does not negatively impact existing functionality.
Design and execute API test cases to validate data exchange and system integration within HR tools.
Document test cases, report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into testable scenarios.
Assist in maintaining QA documentation and support continuous improvement of QA processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in manual software testing, ideally within HR or enterprise systems. (E.g. Workday)
Strong knowledge of regression testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to test planning and execution.
Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) is a plus.
Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Basic understanding of test automation concepts is an advantage.
