Location Address: Hybrid, Toronto – 2 days/week (Monday, Thursday)
Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs
Contract Duration: 6 months with Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE

Business group: HR Technology Quality Assurance – HM is QA Team manager, manages labs and projects, discuss progress, work on tickets and prepare test plans and test cases – 50+ QA in the group – HM is managing an integration stream – in HM’s immediate team 10 resources
Project: Go live is October – warranty period after hence want until end of Dec – New implementation of an application ServiceNow (ticket creation platform for employees, managing access, raising employee concerns) – team is coming in to do testing – from test plans, test cases, bugs, defects, following up, having meetings with project – currently in Sprint 1
Responsibilities
• Split – 30% automation and 70% manual testing; until project is implemented and then will be mostly automated; Tools: Selenium Craft (specific to BNS); Postman; Java
• Writing queries in SQL, comparing data
• Formulate QAT strategies for projects by gaining an understanding of user requirements ensuring compatibility with existing HR systems design/architecture.
• Test HR Application system/integrations changes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/functions consistent with the business needs and priorities of Global HR. Troubleshoot when problems arise and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.
• Writes QAT test documentation (strategies, test cases, results and exit reports).
• Forecasts workday estimates for projects and business as usual activities.
• The incumbent is responsible for the testing for projects with large scope and complexity as well as business as usual activities
• Project end dates are often dictated by the need for timely delivery of new products. It is imperative that testing is completed in a risk-based approach and completed in the allotted timeframe and budget, covering as much functionality as is necessary to prove the system will operate efficiently in Production. And where there is evidence of deficiencies, identify the impact prior to the code being promoted
• QAT strategies are required to support projects
• Testing encompasses all countries the Bank has business in
• Test population is ~100,000 records
• Testing of 5-15 HR Application systems and 300+ Integrations
• Code delivery schedules are maintained for multiple complex test environments simultaneously
Candidate Requirements
1) 5+ years years of demonstrable, practical hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, with demonstrated understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes and ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
2) 4+ years’ experience testing APIs (Postman) and backend systems.
3) 4+ yeas’ experience with SQL (intermediate – running queries)
4) 2+ years’ experience with Selenium (WebDriver, Java, Python)
5) 1+ year automation hands-on experience: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts
6) 3+ years with JIRA, MS Office (Excel (ability to compare data), PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, or Learning – a strong asset
2) Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, custom workflows).
3) Strong understanding of end-to-end business process testing, integrations, and data flows within ServiceNow and SAP ecosystems.
4) Experience with Eggplant, OATS
5) Experience validating configurations, workflows, approvals, roles/permissions, and reports
6) Ability to test integrations between ServiceNow, SAP SuccessFactors, and other enterprise systems.
Education:
A degree in computer science, IT Business/Management or engineering related discipline.
ISTQB/testing certifications an asset
