Scope of Responsibilities
- Data Validation & Testing
- • Perform SQL-based validation of BDM tables, views, reports, and dashboards
- • Validate data mappings, transformations, and reconciliation across EDW → ADM → BDM layers
- • Ensure data completeness, consistency, and integrity
- Test Planning & Execution
- • Prepare test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios based on business requirements
- • Execute functional, regression, and data validation testing
- • Document test results and maintain test evidence
- Defect Management
- • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
- • Coordinate with developers and stakeholders for issue resolution and re-testing
- • Support root cause analysis of data-related issues
- QA Governance & Reporting
- • Support QA SLA monitoring and reporting activities
- • Maintain QA documentation, traceability, and audit-ready records
- • Provide updates on testing progress, risks, and issues
- Process Improvement
- • Contribute to the standardization of QA processes and templates
- • Identify opportunities for testing efficiency and automation improvements
- • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function
Required Competencies
• Strong SQL and analytical skills
• Experience in Data Warehouse / ETL / BDM testing
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and data validation tools
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and defect lifecycle management
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
