Conduct functional and regression tests on automated systems to ensure compliance with business practices and policies. Assist with comprehensive testing of enhancements to new and existing software and systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform regression tests on new and existing systems (legacy and vendor) when new or modified functions are introduced
- Conduct functional tests to verify software operates correctly, interfaces properly with other systems, and generates appropriate reports
- Create and edit test cases in accordance with system requirements
- Identify and analyze business and system requirements, including needs, objectives, functions, features, and inputs/outputs
- Document problems, potential causes, and recommended solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project concepts, objectives, and approaches
- Maintain a complete testing log, including time spent testing, issues encountered, and any delays caused by incomplete documentation or testing tool deficiencies
- Review user documentation for accuracy prior to distribution and report any discrepancies or errors to the Software Testing Analysts
