We’re looking for a talented Junior QA Tester to join our team of IT Professionals on behalf of one of our clients in banking sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, documenting results, reporting defects, and performing regression testing following bug fixes. The role covers both front-end application testing (UI) and testing of services developed on the client's platform for integration with third-party systems.
Working closely with Functional Analysts and Development teams, the QA Tester will ensure that solutions meet business and technical requirements and deliver a high-quality user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases for web applications, user interfaces, and integration services.
- Record and document test execution results, including passed and failed test cases.
- Identify, log, and track defects, and verify fixes through regression testing.
- Collaborate with Functional Analysts to understand requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on functional specifications.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and support defect resolution.
- Participate in functional and integration testing activities to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Ensure that delivered solutions comply with business requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices.
Requirements & Skills:
Qualifications and Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in manual software/application testing.
- Previous experience in the Banking sector, lending automation systems, and/or Business Process Management (BPM) systems will be considered an asset.
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
Technical Skills
- Experience creating and documenting test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Understanding of functional analysis processes and software development lifecycles.
- Ability to perform UI and integration/service testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test execution documentation.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, developers, and technical teams.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with banking applications, lending platforms, or BPM solutions.
- Exposure to integration testing involving third-party systems.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.

*Salary range: 1500-1900 gross(Salary range is indicative and may vary based on experience, skills and seniority)
