Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Tester at LACONICS. The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for test execution, manual testing, automation testing, creating test cases, and applying analytical skills to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Enhance and scale existing automation frameworks to support new features and ensure maintainability.
- Perform integration and API testing with a strong understanding of PHP and related systems.
- Implement and manage code quality checks using SonarQube, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct end-to-end, functional, regression, and performance testing to validate web application stability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify and resolve bugs.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices to improve testing strategies.
- Document and report test plans, cases, results, and quality metrics.
- Advocate for quality across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or PHP for test scripting and backend testing.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation or a related role.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
