We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with Playwright experience to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for manually testing web applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the software meets functional and performance standards. Your hands-on experience with Playwright will also be leveraged for automation tasks and to help bridge the gap between manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.

Perform manual testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices.

Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in a clear, concise manner using tools like Jira or similar.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members during the SDLC.

Use Playwright to write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing.

Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating Playwright test cases.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to provide QA insight and feedback.

Ensure product quality through exploratory testing, usability testing, and edge-case verification.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in manual QA testing for web applications.

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).

Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation and test scripting.

Familiarity with basic JavaScript/TypeScript (or willingness to learn) to modify Playwright scripts.

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Nice to Have:

Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Knowledge of REST API testing (e.g., using Postman).

Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
