SPI Rentals, a premier vacation rental management company on South Padre Island, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Property Inspectors. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our vacation rental properties meet company standards, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests and homeowners.
Responsibilities:
Conducting daily walkthroughs of rental properties and reporting maintenance issues such as broken appliances, TV or internet malfunctions, damaged furniture, water leaks, AC problems, etc.
Creating work orders for the maintenance department via electronic applications and communicating property needs to the maintenance team.
Assisting with special projects and performing additional quality control tasks related to rental properties as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in property inspection, housekeeping supervision, maintenance coordination, or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with identifying basic maintenance issues (e.g., AC filters, leaks, appliance malfunctions).
Skills: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality control. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multiple departments.
Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential for traveling between properties. A weekly per diem reimbursement is provided for driving.
Work Schedule:
Typical shifts: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (hours/shifts may vary based on workload)
Peak season (March – September): 32-40 hours per week with opportunity for OT.
Off-season (October – February): 20-40 hours per week.
Weekends and Holidays (may vary)
