Job Description

The AmaliTech Training Programme is a comprehensive I.T./digital skills initiative that prepares participants for successful careers in the technology industry. Designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace skills.

The training includes a foundational curriculum that strengthens participants’ understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and software testing principles. The advanced phase dives into performance, security, and automation testing, equipping participants to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems.

Programme Details

Duration: 6months (April 2025 – November 2025).

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Delivery mode: On-site, Kigali

Post-Training Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the programme and the capstone project:

Successful Candidates will be directly employed by AmaliTech in a rewarding long term career opportunity in the IT landscape.

Candidates are also free to pursue opportunities with other organisations.

Qualifications

Education:

Final year university students/Graduates with Computer Science, Information Technology and Software Engineering, etc.

Proficiency in an OOP language such as Java or Python

Familiarity with software engineering or testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Cypress is a plus

Logistics

Location: Kigali.

Stipend: Participants receive a generous monthly stipend to support their living expenses during the training.

Additional Requirements

Demonstrable knowledge of QA processes and best practices, supported by a portfolio, online courses, or certifications.
