We’re looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team in Spalding, Lincolnshire working a continental day shift pattern.
Our Quality Auditors play a vital role within Westfalia Fruit UK, ensuring all our products consistently meet the high standards expected by our customers. You will play a crucial part in minimising waste and maintaining our reputation for quality produce.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure all products meet customer specifications through quality checks and positive release
Monitor production lines, identify and address quality issues to minimise waste
Maintain accurate quality control records and conduct shelf-life assessments
Oversee adherence to packhouse procedures and ensure label accuracy
Assist in training staff on product grading procedures
Conduct regular equipment calibration and hygiene, HACCP, and food safety audits
Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment following food safety protocols
Requirements
Experience working within a food production environment
Must hold a valid UK Drivers Licence
Working knowledge of quality control principles and techniques within a fresh produce environment
Experience conducting audits and inspections would be benefical
Familiarity with HACCP principles would also be beneficial
Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve quality issues
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues across various departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
