About the Role
We’re looking for a night shift Quality Inspector – a person who will be a vital member of our quality team and who will ensure products conform to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Understand external customer requirements and ensure they are met – participate in the inspection process
Understand internal customer requirements
Build inspection plans (High QA Inspection Manager)
Run CMMs
Conduct bench inspections
Work proactively with various departments to identify, clarify, and correct quality issues and concerns
Prepare final QA documentation
Support Pre-job Readiness
Expectations

Help us standardize, improve, and accelerate process
Develop an allergy to sloppiness both in process and in physical space

Required Experience / Qualifications
2+ years working in the quality field, preferably as a quality engineer within precision machining
Strong understanding of GD&T and precision automated measurement methods is required
2+ years working with CMMs
Experience working in an ISO 9000, ISO9001, AS9100, IS16949, ISO 13485 or related Quality system environment
Experience with First Articles, FMEA and /or PPAPs
Experience with SPC software is required.
Experience with lean manufacturing, belt certification is a plus
Internal auditing / supplier auditor experience a plus
