Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Batch Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the final compliance to food safety and quality standards before batch disposition. This position entails reviewing batch records, administering the Net Contents system, overseeing Good Documentation and Non-Conforming Reports system, and providing coaching for the effective implementation of quality standards. You will also be involved in risk analysis for production issues, investigations, HACCP, and providing audit support as needed.
Work Schedule:The work hours for this position are overnight, from 12pm to 12am. The work schedule will follow a rotating pattern, with 2 to 3 consecutive days at a time, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute positive release for Business unit product, conducting preliminary and final audits of batch records, facilitating paperwork corrections, and preparing batch files for final disposition.
Notify appropriate production personnel/management of deviations, non-conformances, and blocked product.
Support teams in achieving objectives and contribute to the development of competence of operators.
Support and update quality procedures, instructions, and tools for the Business unit.
Support Nestle Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect and compliance with Nestle Quality Management System requirements.
Support Business Unit readiness for internal and external audits.
Follow factory safety and environmental objectives and report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
Maintain compliance with regulations and understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position.
Maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience &
Education Requirements:
University graduate (preferably in microbiology, chemistry, or food science) or equivalent work experience.
Exposure to various roles within production, maintenance, or regulated environments.
Expertise in FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
Excellent ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
Solution-oriented mindset.
Exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel (intermediate level).
Strong commitment to safety.
