Canton Racing Products has been a manufacturer and distributor of a variety of aftermarket engine accessories for over 40 years. We have a solid reputation for building quality products and providing our customers with quality service. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products from initial research and development to final production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control principles, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
Inspect incoming materials and products against spec sheets
Review products and processes at various intervals of production
Create and Maintain quality check documents for current and new products
Troubleshoot product non-conforming issues
Evaluate returns and warranty claims
Product Development
Create new product specifications , drawings and prototypes
Improve existing products through design and process enhancements
Update sales information, packaging and documentation as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methods
Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, AutoCAD a plus
Sheet Metal fabrication knowledge a plus
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of the team
Capable of time management, including prioritizing and multi-tasking
Experience in a manufacturing environment
This position is an in person, full-time (40 hour per week), Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Our benefits package includes health, dental, life and short term disability insurances.
