Position: Lab Technician
Location: Vineland, New Jersey
Job Description:
As a Lab Technician, you will work under the guidance of our Lab Manager and will play a key role in executing the production and quality assurance of our regulated cannabis-infused products. This position is responsible for maintaining a compliant, safe, and efficient laboratory environment that meets high standards of quality and consistency. You’ll manage day-to-day lab operations and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety standards, and internal SOPs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manufacture cannabis-infused products in a licensed cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility, ensuring they are produced with quality standards and compliance from internal SOPs.
· Manage and maintain lab equipment and kitchen areas, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
· Maintain accurate records throughout production to ensure quality control of regulated products.
· Strictly enforce GMP, Food Safety, and QA regulations, ensuring all actions adhere to SOPs, recipes, and formulations.
· Abide to all systems, processes, and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and consistency.
· Properly utilize PPE and hygiene practices at all times.
· Conduct regular performance checks on equipment and work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
· Attention to Detail: Ability to follow procedures with precision and maintain high standards of consistency across large volumes of products.
· Adaptability: Capable of working in a dynamic environment with high-stress tolerance.
· Strong Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide various units of measure.
· Physcial Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shifts.
· Communcation Skills: Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
· Desired Background: Cannabis Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Culinary experience, or experience in a GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
· High school diploma or equivalent, must be 21 Years or Older.
Employee Schedule:
· Saturday and Sunday from 8am – 5pm
· 2 Weekday shifts per week from 3:30pm to 8pm, flexibility on days.
Compensation:
· Hourly Rate: $22.00
· $100 Monthly Credit of Veda Warrior Products.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
