Job Summary:

GEELY UAE is seeking a meticulous and experienced Road Tester / Quality Controller to ensure that all vehicles meet the highest quality standards before being released to the market. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for automobiles. They will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing procedures, identifying defects or issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement necessary improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive road tests on GEELY vehicles to evaluate performance, safety, and overall quality.

Inspect vehicles for defects, imperfections, and irregularities in both design and production phases.

Maintain detailed records of test results, observations, and recommendations for each vehicle tested.

Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues and implement necessary improvements.

Ensure that all vehicles meet regulatory requirements and quality standards set by GEELY and relevant authorities.

Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.

Generate regular reports on quality control metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting recommendations to management.

Gather feedback from customers and dealerships to identify areas of improvement and address any quality concerns.

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in quality control to continuously improve testing procedures and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Has total experience of 6 – 7 years working as a technician and a quality controller.

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a road tester, quality controller, or in a similar role within the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and performance metrics.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
