Position Overview:
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Straights Department’s quality assurance process, ensuring every product meets our exacting standards before shipment. You’ll collaborate with team leads, molding operators, and shipping staff to keep production running smoothly and maintain top-notch craftsmanship.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect finished products to confirm compliance with company quality standards prior to shipping
Use tablet devices to review and follow work orders accurately during production
Communicate clearly with team leads, order entry, and molding operators to prioritize daily workflow
Utilize hand tools and equipment such as sanders and saws as needed for product preparation
Wrap, label, package, and organize products efficiently for shipment
Assist with applying adhesives and prepping materials for upcoming orders
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace at all times
Report equipment issues promptly and support routine machine maintenance
Coordinate with the Shipping Department when orders are ready for dispatch
Provide proactive support to molding operators and production team members
Represent Elipticon Wood Products professionally, adhering to company dress and conduct policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
No prior experience required — comprehensive training provided
Valid driver’s license required
Forklift certification a plus (training available on site)
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Basic math skills and competency with tape measures and other measuring tools
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong communication skills and a cooperative, team-first attitude
Self-driven with a solid work ethic and eagerness to learn
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily in a manufacturing setting with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions
Regular lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs required
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and manual handling throughout the shift
Moderate noise environment with safety protocols rigorously enforced

Tap roots: Every tree starts with a tap root that provides stability and absorption. Over time, other roots outgrow the taproot.
