Job Purpose
The quality control analyst is responsible for the chemical evaluation of raw materials and end products. In this role, he/she conducts analyses of materials, environmental samples and finished products, interprets test results and compares them with established criteria.
Key Responsibilities
The Quality Control Laboratory Analyst reports to the Quality Control Laboratory Manager and collaborates with the Quality Control Supervisor who supervises the daily activities of the laboratory.
The Laboratory Analyst performs the analysis on incoming materials and batches according to CGMP. The activities include, but are not limited to, testing for:
In‑Process controls
Raw materials, Intermediates and API batches
Stability studies
Analysis for quality investigations
Required Education
Chemistry high‑school certificate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Required Skills And Experience
At least 1 year experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably in pharmaceutical companies
Working knowledge of scientific principles for a wide range of analytical techniques
Understanding of EMPOWER is strongly preferred
Routine use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Word
Good English speaking and comprehension is strongly preferred
Available to adapt to flexible working hours
Resident nearby Latina or available to relocate
