Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Analyst role based in Jodhpur. The Quality Control Analyst will perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished Ayurvedic and herbal products to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role includes operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting test results with accuracy, and supporting quality assurance procedures such as deviation reporting, CAPA, and batch release processes. The analyst will collaborate closely with production, R&D, and QA teams to troubleshoot quality issues, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold GMP and safety guidelines in the laboratory. The position also involves maintaining clean, organized workspaces, updating standard operating procedures as needed, and participating in internal audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret test data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise, including sampling, testing, documentation, and adherence to GMP and relevant regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including handling chemicals and samples, following SOPs, and maintaining a safe, compliant lab environment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Laboratory Equipment, such as basic instruments for physical, chemical, and microbiological testing, along with routine calibration and maintenance practices.
- Candidates should possess foundational Quality Assurance knowledge, including understanding of quality systems, audits, CAPA processes, and batch record review.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, herbal, nutraceutical, or FMCG manufacturing quality functions is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
