Your expertise in AS9102 First Article Inspection is pivotal!
What You’ll Do:
Utilize an array of measurement tools to conduct product inspections, guaranteeing adherence to specified requirements.
Interpret aerospace, military, and industry standards effectively.
Decode manufacturing instructions and manage airworthiness documentation like an expert.
Oversee paperwork related to quality assurance meticulously.
Operate CMM and Surfcom equipment for advanced measurements and contour tracement.
Execute First Article Inspections with proficiency.
Process Discrepant Material Reports (DMR’s) efficiently.
Aspire to empower inspection delegations by becoming a certified customer inspection delegate (DSQR).
Mentor and manage source inspectors.
Contribute Above & Beyond:
Champion Lean initiatives across the organization.
Engage in diverse reporting, assignments, and stay ahead with required training.
Commit to safety protocols and adhere to PPE requirements.
What You Bring:
A proven track record with over 3 years in quality inspection within machining, particularly aerospace.
Mastery of AS9102 FAI and metrology tools.
Exceptional skills in GD&T and CMM operation.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, digital imaging, and Adobe Acrobat.
Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.
Undergo necessary medical exams pertinent to role and work environment.
Physical capability for manual tasks, including occasional lifting.
Your Educational Background:
Completion of high school, with a preference for further quality-related training or ASQ certification.
Your Skillset – Our Tools:
Demonstrable expertise in GD&T and quality inspection.
Hands-on familiarity with AS9102 and PPAP processes.
Operate measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
