GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs the following types of duties: performs routine sampling of incoming raw materials, in-process, or finished products; delivers samples to necessary labs as required; compares finished products to standards; keeps retention samples; releases or rejects raw materials and/or finished products; keeps accurate documentation; ensures appropriate records are complete prior to releasing; takes samples at random of finished work orders; provides support to Q.A. lab; performs other related duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine sampling of incoming raw materials, in process or finished products
Delivers samples to labs
Compares finished products to standards
Releases or rejets raw materials and/or finished products
Keeps accurate documentation and records
Samples finished work orders
Supports QA Lab
Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma
Knowledge of GMP’s, GLP’s
Knowledge of NSP safety guideline and procedures
Knowledge of Q.A. procedures relative to job duties
Knowledge of warehouse safety
Skill in utilizing PC software and Oracle
Skill in using analytical balance and scales
Forklift license required
Ability to keep accurate records and reports
Ability to organize time and prioritize job duties
Ability to communicate well with all other NSP departments
