Quality Control Assistant
Summary/Objective
· THE QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT WILL REPORT TO THE QC MANAGER AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING WITH ENSURING THAT ANY LOCKED UNITS AND RETURNS WILL BE PROCESSED IN AN EXPEDITIOUS MANNER. THE QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT WILL ALSO ASSIST IN MAINTAINING CONTROL STANDARDS AND FOLLOWING QUALITY CHECK PROCEDURES.
Duties
· DEP Locked/iCloud Locked Units
o Input the models and serials into a digital (excel or Google Drive) list.
o Assist in maintaining the Locked Units tracking document.
· Processing
o Assist in return processing, as needed
o Reprocess released devices
· Other Duties
o Remove screens from designated tablets.
· Quality Control
o Help to count physical quantities in pallets for sale.
o Test devices for sale per quality control guidelines.
· Data Security
o Make sure all loose hard drives and storage mediums are securely stored for data security. Strictly adhere to the standards of Sycamore data security policies.

· Ensure all processing staff are aware of our data security policies and thoroughly understand them.
Work Environment
Job operates in a warehouse production environment. This role requires standing for extended periods of time during the day. This role routinely requires the use of computers, Mac OS, Windows, the Microsoft Office suite, a custom relational database used for asset tracking, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and general office equipment.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, lift up to 40 lbs and walk around the facility to perform their basic job functions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, operating from 9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, five days per week. Extended hours on site and off site may be required during busy periods.
Required Education and Experience
Example for a processor position:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Experience in using computers personally or professionally
3. Experience in a related IT field
4. 1+ years’ experience in computer repair
