Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality through the development and implementation of quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to maintain and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and control processes to ensure product compliance with industry regulations and company specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
Perform audits of internal processes, suppliers, and manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns in product development and manufacturing processes.
Utilize statistical tools and data analysis methods to monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the development and execution of training programs related to quality control, inspection techniques, and best practices.
Maintain documentation related to quality standards, inspections, and compliance requirements.
Assist in customer and regulatory audits by preparing documentation and providing necessary support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other relevant methodologies.
Proficiency in quality management tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving methods.
Experience with non-conformance reporting, corrective action processes, and supplier quality management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Experience with statistical analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc.).
Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the industry.
