Position Summary

The Quality Control Associate supports Pride Solvent & Chemical’s commitment to producing safe, high-quality products by performing laboratory testing, quality inspections, documentation reviews, and regulatory compliance activities. This position partners with Production, Operations, and the Quality team to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, cGMP requirements, food-grade standards, and internal quality expectations while supporting continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

· Perform quality control testing and inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

· Conduct laboratory testing using approved methods and accurately document all results.

· When needed, prepare and Ship samples to qualified approved testing Labs.

· Review production records, drum records and certificate of analysis (COA) for completeness, accuracy, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

· Monitor manufacturing operations to verify compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.

· Identify quality concerns and assist with OOS investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

· Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine calibration and maintenance.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while following all safety procedures.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.

· Support internal and external quality and regulatory audits as needed.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Approximately two (2) years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, laboratory testing, or a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

· Working knowledge of cGMP, food-grade manufacturing, and regulatory documentation is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail, organizational, and computer skills.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

· Ability to work in both an office and chemical manufacturing environment.

· Frequent standing, walking, computer use, and occasional lifting consistent with laboratory operations.

· Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on production schedules, business needs, or special projects.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
