Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Administrative Support professional to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for an individual with strong experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Quality Management, Auditing and a deep familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. The ideal candidate will play a key supporting role in maintaining and enhancing the quality management systems, coordinating audits, managing quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management Support:
Assist the Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Support the tracking and documentation of non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare and manage quality reports, ensuring timely distribution to internal teams and customers.
Audit Coordination:
Assist in the scheduling, preparation, and coordination of internal and external audits.
Support the collection and organization of audit-related documents and records.
Monitor the completion of audit corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
Act as a liaison during customer and third-party audits, providing necessary support to the audit process.
Compliance and Documentation Control:
Ensure that all quality-related documentation is in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other applicable industry standards.
Maintain a controlled document system, ensuring all documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed according to company procedures.
Help manage the tracking and renewal of certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or administrative support role within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
Proven experience working with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Experience in Aerospace audits (internal and external) is preferred.
Familiarity with quality control techniques and tools (e.g., root cause analysis, non-conformance management).
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and quality management software or systems.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
Knowledge of basic quality concepts, lean manufacturing principles, and regulatory standards.
Education:
High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Quality Assurance, or Engineering) is preferred.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certifications are a plus.
