Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate and supervise the testing and monitoring of raw materials, finished products, packaging, labeling and reworks to ensure product quality.
- Provide daily production support which includes wet chemistry analysis and determines adjustments to products during the manufacturing process.
- Oversee wastewater treatment process and monitor water quality for product manufacture.
- Responsible for QA/QC laboratory chemical analysis, equipment standardization, s.o.p.’s.
- Assist with rework of off-spec products or obsolete raw materials.
- Works on product development projects as assigned by the Technical Director
- Any other responsibilities delegated by the Technical Director or on-site plant manager.
- Provide feedback for product specifications.
- Assure paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Conduct quality audits on products in the warehouse
Qualifications /Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science, Degree in Chemistry or another related field preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, five years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail
- Multitasking
- Flexibility in daily schedule
