De Eccher Group, a leading Italian company in the construction industry operating worldwide, is looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join “The Surrey Langley SkyTrain” project in Vancouver. This project is a 16-kilometre extension of the Expo Line from King George Station to Langley City Centre. Responsibilities:
Manage a team of seven inspectors specializing in mould, rebar, and finishing.
Oversee the witnessing and documentation of each step in constructing the match-cast concrete segments for the Skylink guideway.
Ensure compliance with CSA Standards for Precast Concrete.
Preference given to candidates with experience in segmental match cast construction and the CPCI precast concrete certification program (CPCQA).
Play a key role in maintaining the quality of precast concrete segments as the Quality Control Engineering Coordinator.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
At least 7 years of North American experience in precast quality control, inspection or production.
A demonstrated ability to build, lead and motivate a team.
A keen attention to detail in a highly audited technical environment.
A collaborative, flexible team attitude.
