QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Participate in the Failure Review Board (FRB) to disposition Product fallout (i.e., Failures) after Incoming Inspection and Test.

Coordinate audit of product from sub-contract manufacturers per existing guidelines.

Execute internal audits for the ISO certification process.

Perform data analysis and report results to Senior Management.

Data analysis is designed to gain insight into special-cause events and common-cause capability issues and areas to reduce waste and defects.

Review the Manufacturing Documentation Release System for accuracy on new products.

Will develop visual reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Perform shelf-life audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/ BS in Quality Engineering or any related Engineering field.

6+ years of experience in Quality Control in an electronics manufacturing environment, preferably audio/video equipment.

Supervisory/leadership experience a plus.

ASQ certification a plus.

Must possess extensive knowledge of various Operational/Manufacturing Processes including, but not limited to the below:

In Process Inspection of Manufacturing Processes for Mechanical Assembly and Test of Electronic Products.

Receiving Inspection, Control & Disposition of Nonconforming Material.

PCB Fabrication (ANSI IPC 600 & 6010).

PCBA Assembly (ANSI IPC 610).

Excellent problem solving skills related to process analysis and continuous improvement based on quality and efficiency metrics.

Knowledge of Process Data collection, Analysis, Charting, Incorporation of Engineering Change requests with the ability to communicate the results to various levels of Management.

Experience in the ISO 9000 requirements, with the ability to write Departmental/ Process procedures and a thorough understanding of Corrective Actions, Internal Auditing, and RBT.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate, and must be hands on.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $105,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
