Geoclima is an Italian company specialized in the design and production of non-standard chillers for applications in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. We are now part of the bigger Munters group.
To support our operations in Thailand, we are looking for a Quality Control Engineer, responsible to ensure product quality throughout the production process, to maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other standards, coordinating quality-related matters across departments. This role also serves as a key bridge between the Factory Manager and production staff, ensuring clear communication and adherence to quality and company standards.
Responsibilities
Act as facilitator between Factory Manager and the production team.
Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
Ensure that each department follows relevant quality standards and company procedures related to product manufacturing.
Verify that all production quality documentation is completed in compliance with company procedures and standards.
Identify, report, and track Non-Conformities (NCs) related to purchased goods, services, and internal processes, ensuring timely resolution.
Investigate and resolve quality issues in production, working closely with Factory Manager and Quality Control in Italy when necessary.
Manage customer claims, working closely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure prompt resolution.
Monitor and report costs associated with NCs and customer claims.
Capture and store QC images of each unit, ensuring they meet documentation standards.
Conduct final QC documentation checks before shipment and authorize releases when requirements are met.
Ensure that all QC documentation is archived correctly, both physically and digitally.
Monitor the progress of production activities against the production plan and report any delays.
Monitor the status of production and testing tools ensuring that their maintenance and calibration are up to date.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including reports and checklists.
Qualifications
Experience in quality control in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably with chillers or HVAC equipment.
Knowledge of ISO standards and industrial quality control procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Thai national or allowed to work in Thailand without work permit.
