Boeing Global Services, Distribution Services is looking for an Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS.

The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.

Position Responsibilities:

Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming product.
Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by Site size); Active use of stamps required.
Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers.
Perform First Articles for submission to customers.
Identify and communicate opportunities to increase inspector productivity and assist with RCCA activities pertaining to Inspection. Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

6 years of related work experience (6-8 years preferred)
Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
Experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
Experience monitoring measurement and test equipment’s
Previous aerospace inspection experience
Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
Fluent in English (i.e. reading, writing, and verbal communication)
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferred
Understanding of Six Sigma / Lean concepts
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
Advanced GD&T Skills – Optical Comparator, CMM, Layout.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Summary pay range: $20.00 p/h – $28.36 p/h
