Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming quality inspections on purchased parts for overhaul and repair projects.
- Inspect pumps, spare parts, and completed repair work to ensure compliance with company standards and engineering specifications.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and distribute them to relevant parties.
- Investigate non-conforming parts and coordinate corrective actions with internal departments and suppliers.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring instruments and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection processes.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Service teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), or inspection of rotating equipment, pumps, or industrial machinery is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment overhaul, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), particularly Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
- PT Level 1 & Level 2 certification is preferred.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
