A QA/QC Engineer (Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer)
ensures products, projects, or services meet established quality
standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations from design to
completion. They are responsible for implementing quality management
systems, conducting inspections/tests, troubleshooting defects,
maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvement to
ensure compliance with customer requirements
Key Responsibilities:
-Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process
components, and finished products to ensure compliance with technical
standards.
-Quality System Development: Develop, implement, and maintain
Quality Assurance (QA) plans, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
-Defect Management: Identify, document, and analyze product faults,
carrying out root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring corrective/preventive
actions are taken.
-Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety
standards, and project-specific requirements. Conduct audits and review
supplier/subcontractor quality documents.
-Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records, reports, and
documentation regarding quality performance and test results.
-Collaboration: Liaise with production, engineering, procurement, and
client representatives to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Requirements:
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical,
etc.) or a related field.
-Experience: Previous experience (usually 2+ years) in a QA/QC role
within manufacturing, construction, or a relevant industry.
-Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control
standards, testing methodologies (e.g., NDT for manufacturing), and
industry regulations.
-Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze
data.
-Tools: Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement instruments, and
quality software (e.g., QMS).
-Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and
with clients
