Position Summary
Seraphina Therapeutics seeks to hire a highly driven and passionate Quality Manager that wants to be a part of a purpose driven, passionate and fast growing organization.
The Quality Manager will play a critical role in the management of Seraphina’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role is essential in ensuring that our product is being manufactured and held to the highest industry standards.
As a critical part of our team, the Quality Manager will be responsible for supplier qualification, complaint management, compliance training, and investigating non-conformances. This role requires a highly organized, collaborative and communicative individual with a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
● Oversee and manage the Company’s Quality Assurance practices in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant manner.
● Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
● Provide employee training on GMP compliance related topics, policies and procedures.
● Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in quality system.
● Investigate customer complaints and nonconforming issues. Implement appropriate and effective corrective and preventive measure(s).
● Evaluate and qualify suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials based on quality and regulatory standards.
● Conduct supplier audits and ensure continuous monitoring of supplier performance.
● Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to resolve quality and compliance issues with suppliers.
● Liaise with various to departments to modify standard operating procedures, and create new ones as needed
● Implement qualification practices as needed.
● Lead client, third-party, and FDA quality assurance audits along with senior management
● Liaise with vendors to obtain needed regulatory information for ingredients and with customers to respond to regulatory inquiries
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, science or equivalent knowledge and experience
Quality Assurance Experience: At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance in an FDA regulated industry with 2-3 years experience in tdietary supplement manufacturing.
Knowledge of the industry’s regulatory environment, specifically with 21 CFR 111 is required.
Other qualifications that are desired include: PCQI (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual, SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and/or experience with quality audits.
Organizational and Time Management Skills: Highly organized, detailed-oriented self-starter that is able to manage a high workload and with excellent time management skills.
Communication and Collaboration Abilities: This role needs a person that is highly communicative and collaborative – ability to work across the organization in a way that adapts to their teammate’s needs and work style.

Compensation & Benefits:
